Accommodation is my biggest concern ,,They are moving their office in a few Months from the extreme North to the extreme South east, So I either get a apartment central and travel or a shout term in the north and then migrate south when the office moves. Not cheap either, studio and one bedroom gaffs in the city are rocking over 100,000bt

I believe it's 50k just to buy a license that allows you to purchase a car, which you can keep on the road for 10 year! New car prices are at least 3 or 4 times more than the equivalent vehicle/model in the UK.

Johor I think that is mate. They have quite an extensive Metro in Singapore now , i have not driven for years for various reasons,Companies in China and Taiwan will supply car and driver because its so fucking dangerous in Malaysia I was supplied the car and paid my own driver. I think these wont be supplying a motor and I'll be working for the Metro , so I'm going in for free travel on their system

Brunch in the Billiard Room at Raffles is decent.
Eating at one of the restaurants in Chijmes is good for outdoor atmosphere but expensive.

Went there for 5 days think I saw everything
It's so unlike Thailand and most of Malaysia
Think straight keys in Penang that's what it's like clean and very western
As others have said stay away from Orchard towers there 100s of Vietnam and Philapines girls in there don't want you getting corrupted

hahahaha, i have never been to malaysia, but have you thought of also looking there and commuting up? singapore is very clinical i found, like a grown up dubai but almost like its past its sell by date in places.
i am not trying to put you off as i literally went there for an odd couple of days so am really no expert, just saying look at all options...
